Show Notes

This message unpacks what it truly means to live an “all in” life with God—not as a slogan, but as a daily posture of willingness. Purpose is not something to observe; it is something to walk out. Through Scripture and lived experience, this message explores Spirit-led living, obedience, vision, and surrender, showing how God works through availability rather than qualification. Being all in is a lifestyle that bridges knowing and doing, releases potential, and empowers believers to live with clarity, confidence, and impact—both inside the church and beyond its walls.

[00:00:00] Welcome to the World Changers Church Gold Coast Podcast. Join us as we listen to today's message. Well, it's been a great service we've had this morning. Thank you for coming back. We'll see you next week. No. You know, my pastor I started out with when I was 26. I think I was somewhere 26. His name was Burt Dotson. He was an old logger. I don't know if you know what a logger is, but he would. He would pick up stumps like a bull, and he had hands that would just wrap around your whole head. He could take wheelbarrows of mulch and pick them up and put them on the back of a truck. He was the strongest man I'd ever met in my life. And one of the things he told me, he says, I think I was 26, 27. I was traveling around with him from place to place. And he said, Kyle, I was young and I was full of spice. You know, every time I got up, it was like, ah. And one of the things he told me, he said, Kyle, remember to minister with, from and to the Holy Spirit. And this morning, I feel like we've ministered with, to and from the Holy Spirit. Amen. I feel like heart postures are shifting. Concerns are no longer so complex. And we don't even have the lights on this morning. This is great. This is bright up here, and they're not even on. And it's the glory of God. I think one of the things we can look at this morning is sometimes the technical stuff goes out the window. The order goes out, the order of service goes out the window, and we just gotta flow with the Holy Spirit. Amen. Amen. And God has been so good to me since November, October, November last year. He's been telling me, okay, this is what you're gonna talk. And I don't want you to do anything but study. And we'll write it together on Sunday mornings if I give you any notes. So God's been bringing me to this place where everything we minister is with, to and from the Holy Spirit. And how many know that a spirit led life is so important? Amen. You know, a spirit led life, it just causes you to go all in. It causes you to step with faith. And, you know, one of the scriptures I have this morning that I may not give to the guys was in Colossians 1:16. And I'm gonna read a portion of that. Did I give that to you, Tim? No. So for him, all things were created that are in heaven and on earth, visibly and invisible. All things were created through him and for him. Sometimes I have to remind myself that with all my ambitions and all my inner ambitions and all my wants and desires and all my thoughts and my pleas and everything that I do, I gotta remember that God is saying, do this. God is calling me to do that. And no matter where I go, the only time I've really been disappointed is when I try and do it my way. Amen. Does that make sense? Everything I've set out to do on my own has really not worked. So I've learned to go all in and live a life of purpose. And that is a practice for my life that I'm leaning to God and I'm saying things like, Lord, as long as you're in it, Amen. My prayer is no longer, Lord, if you do this, I'll do that. And, Lord, if you do this, I'll do that. And I no longer bargain with God anymore. I just want to know that God's in it, that God's hand is on it, that God is doing exceedingly above all that I can imagine, ask, or think. And then all things are possible. Because if God be for me, who can be against me? Amen. Amen. So today we're kind of starting that conversation about what it really means to be all in. So I'm going to show you. I did this on purpose. And all in sometimes it looks like, hey, you know what? Those aren't straight. Let's just take some time to just stop and fix that a little. And now it's crooked. Is it straight yet? No, no, it's good. All right, sweet. But see how we did that together? See how all it took was one person drawing attention to it? And then everybody's like, yeah, that does need to be fixed. All in sometimes just looks like you seeing a need and stepping into it. And then everybody else goes, oh, yeah, we need to do that. Whether it be in children's ministry, the van, the grill, whatever it may be. Maybe it's just helping somebody in the parking lot. Let's get outside these four walls. Maybe it's how we live our life in our community, or how we greet our neighbor. All in is more than just how we do church. All in is how we live. Cause we're living for him, we're talking to him, and we're doing all things from him. Amen. Amen. Come on, somebody. So when we talk about all in, and we're going to do that for the next three weeks, as the Lord leads All in, is not a slogan. It's not hype. This is not just something we say. It's not something we're gonna put on all of our volunteer T shirts, all in Ask me. We're not gonna blink twice if you want prayer, even though that's a great shirt. We're not creating slogans. We're creating community. But we're creating community that goes past World Changers Church. We're living in a kingdom where the body of Christ is alive in the Gold coast. And everything you see happening here this morning is happening in other churches. So this is more than where we attend or how great our pastor speaks or how good our worship team is. And by the way, they are good. Amen. This is about, Lord, I want to do what you have said to do, and I want to be a part of what you're a part of in this city, in my home, and as I drive to work, I want to be available to whatever it is you are communicating through the Holy Spirit today. Amen. That's good. So last week we talked about purpose. Not just that we have purpose, but God is intentional, personal, and he is active in shaping our lives. I know that that's like, a good thing to say, but do we actually realize that? I got up this morning, and I think it was 5:45, and I got up and I said, Lord, I just need some more sleep. He said, yeah, go back to sleep. I mean, it was the coolest response I've ever had from the Lord. Yep, yep, Go ahead. And can I tell you, God is actually that close to you when you allow him to be. And then alarm clock went off again. It was like 6:15. He said, it's okay. Get up and fix yourself a coffee if you want one. And I was like, huh? You've never told me that, Lord. I thought coffee was bad for me. Fixed the coffee. He said, now sit down. Let's talk about this message today. So from 6:15 to 6:45, he said, all week long, we've done this and we've been a part of that, and you've said this and we've helped that. He said, now I want you to realize that everything you've done this week is what it looks like to be all in. He said, did you have much time to Netflix? I said, no, no, no, not really, Lord. And there was a new movie that came out I really want to watch. He said, did you have much time for, like, any hobbies? I said, yeah, one or two, but not really that much. And he goes, did you have time to eat? I said, yep, always got time for that. He said, you have time to sleep? I said, yep. If you know me and live at my house, you know when I'm going to sleep, I'm going to sleep anywhere, standing if I must. He said, so you were able to do the things you needed to do and some of the things you wanted to do, and life wasn't a sacrifice for you this week, was it? I said, no, Sweatless Lord. And he said, do you know how much you got done this week? And we talked about it. I said, wow, that's a lot. And he said, yeah, you did that from and through me. You didn't actually do any of it. I said, amen. When you're living in the grace of God and you're being led in the spirit, you actually don't get tired. You will be surprised at how much you can do. Oh, there it is. He's gonna ask for more volunteers. No, no. But yes. We ran. One of our communion trays went empty this morning. We might need some more ushers. Amen. But the beauty of it is, is that we don't react to what we see. We respond to what God said. And God said that this year will be a year of impact. Amen. And that means if you want to serve people, feed people, love people, talk to people, be part of the ministry in this church or be a part of something happening in the community or in the Gold Coast, God said, world changers will be a part of the impact in this city, will be a part of the impact in this house. Amen. All right, I'm just following the Lord here. Last week, we established some truths. You are not here by accident in life. Not world changers in life. Even if, you know, my mom told me one time, she said, kyle, we didn't expect you. I said, thanks, Mom. It was really sweet of you. Really appreciate you telling me that on my birthday. Thank you. Thanks. I hope you at least give me something good. But I'm not an accident. God designed me on purpose. No matter if the world was ready for me, God sent me on purpose. Amen. God was not surprised by me, and he is not surprised by you. And he's not surprised by what's happening in your life right now. He has answers for everything you're going through and going to do. Amen. We establish a truth that you're not. [00:11:02] Overlooked. [00:11:06] And you're not behind. You know, I've met plenty of ministers that sit in the back row and say, well, my seasons have Passed. We'll just let the young ones do it. You still breathing? God's still using you, no matter your age. Amen. I remember showing up one Wednesday night in Larry Wilson's church. Another pastor of mine, solid Holy Spirit, man. And I had this word. I had these scriptures. I must have had, like 10 scriptures and ready to preach and an outline ready. And I was sitting next to my buddy Doug. I said, I got the message for tonight. I even had that old Pentecostal God said, I got the message for tonight. I just know that God's gonna move. And then Larry started preaching. He's not obeying God. That's what I said. And God, in that moment, Larry looked at me and said, And Larry knew nothing about a message that I had. He didn't see me squirming. I didn't look mad on the front row, by the way, my normal face. I was actually in it. And he looked at me and he said, kyle, Holy Ghost, man. He said, kyle, just because you're not preaching today doesn't mean God won't use you out there to spread his word. I said, huh? And I went out and preached. He told me afterwards, he said, I sensed in the spirit that, you know, you were unsettled. I said, yeah, I thought I had the message for. But you preached right to me. He said, kyle, God didn't ordain a message for pulpits. He ordained a message for everywhere you go. Just because you ain't doing it here doesn't mean God ain't using you. This church is all about empowering you to go out into the community and be the good news sharer. Amen. Amen. So you're not left behind. And as we've stated, everything is Created in Colossians 1:16 through him and for him. So purpose answers this question, why am I here today? As we begin this all in message, the next question is, how do I live my purpose out? I meet a lot of people that have been in church for many, many years, and they don't know how to live their purpose. And I want to tell you something. When you're all in with purpose, it's in motion. You know, it's moving. And Jesus never called people to observe their purpose. He invited them to follow him first. Matthew 4:19, Follow me and I will make you fishers of men. Amen. Follow me. He said to them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. The first part about doing the ministry is surrounding yourself with people that are walking in that direction. Amen. So if you're an evangelist, Jeremy's quite busy every week, as you can see. Amen. If you are doing outreach, if you're doing some form of ministry, we have a ministry team here that is doing ministry. And thank God for the rain, because the Lord knows we need it. Amen. But, Lord, hold back the floods. Amen. But if you. If you want to do ministry, we have a ministry team that goes past this pulpit, that goes past Sundays, that this church called World Changers is out there changing worlds seven days a week. Amen. And I'm thankful to God for that. So learn to notice the process of living on purpose. Follow became obedience, and obedience became transformation. Amen. While you're sitting there saying, I don't have the opportunity to. God is giving you many opportunities every day. Amen. Your job site, your workplace, your employees, the barista, the Lord knows that they get some angry people through that drive through. Amen. God's given you so much opportunity. So God is just not. He's not just. I'm not just grateful for God's purpose. I'm willing to walk in it. I remember 20 years ago, God told me I was gonna be a pastor. And he told me all the things I do as a pastor and what I do before and what I do after. I've been living the blueprint of God for over 20 years. It took me around 15 years of serving another man's vision and serving in ministry to actually get my first pastoral role. I've been in ministry for 25 years. I've been in ministry for or 23. How old are you, Alex? 23. I've been married for 25. And I'm going on my 24th, 25th year of being in ministry. And I'm telling you right now, Let the rain come, Lord, but may it rain on the inside with the Holy Spirit. Amen. As I served vision that didn't have a title, I learned so much more about what it takes to be a part of the ministry of Jesus, that there is so much more going on that if you don't know your purpose, you'll be looking for the title before you ever have the character to get there. Amen. Because if you're chasing a title, that's all ego and pride, chase purpose, follow Jesus, and let the Holy Spirit grow you to the title. Amen. So all in is simply saying, I'm willing to walk in it. A lot of you are already on the way. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Some of you been there, done that, got the t Shirt, and I daresay, tattoo. Some of you would like to say scar instead. So it doesn't matter if you've served 40 years in ministry, 40 minutes in ministry, God will empower you to do what he's called you to do. Amen. So look at this. This message is not about something is missing. It's because something is growing. Amen. Something is happening around us in the city of the Gold coast. That is evident in attendance today. That is evidence in purpose and vision of this church. It's evident in your life. Do you not feel that surge? Do you not feel that want to go to church, but you don't really know why? Do you not feel that, like, I've got to do something today for God? Does anybody feel that? Amen. Well, I don't really feel it. Okay. Well, purpose doesn't always come with a feeling. It comes with a knowing. Do you know that God has called you to be witnesses of his good news and great works through Jesus? Amen. Amen. But Paul reminds us in Philippians 1 and 6. Did I give you that one? Being confident of the very thing that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. I was born in a hillbilly family. Y' all know what a hillbilly is? Y' all call it bogan. I would actually dare say that that is. Hillbilly is worse than bogan. Because we were not poor. We were po. We couldn't afford the R and we couldn't. We sometimes couldn't afford the O in the Cheerios. So we just got water. Amen. It doesn't matter the family you're born into. It doesn't matter your political stance. It doesn't matter whether you were born into a low, low end of society or high end to society. The world is teaching us, unless you know somebody in the inner crowd that you can't do anything. Well, look at Nehemiah. He was a cupbearer and his countenance before the king sent him to rebuild the wall in 52 days. Look at the Joseph with the robe of many colors, a nobody thrown in a pit, then prison and coming out of the pit to the palace to be able to save many people. Your journey doesn't define what God's going to do with you. Amen. Your journey is just a story before you get there. Your journey is just a testimony of the triumph of what God's doing in you, around you, and for you. And if you don't quit along the way, I'll tell you right now, great things are gonna come out of you. The enemy just wants you to quit. The enemy wants you to sit down. The enemy wants you to read the gossip, take the phone calls, receive the text message, and believe what your daddy said about you. But God said something different about you. And he said, follow me and I'll make you fishers of men. Amen. Doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, God can confidently do something because he is already at work, he's already done it, and he's paved the way. Amen. Praise God. You don't need to catch up. You need to keep moving. Amen. Who you running for and who you running to? If it ain't Jesus, who is first shall be last, and who is last shall be first. I don't want to finish first in this race. Amen. I'm not in competition with everybody around me. I'm running my race before the Lord. Amen. And I'm running at the pace he sets. If that church grew in seven years, why isn't your church grown in seven years? I don't know. I'm just following the Lord. And you've been through this and you've been through that, and this has been said and that's been said and this has been done and blah blah, blah, and blah blah, blah. Listen, while you in the sidelines watching me run my race, I'm gonna keep moving. Amen. I'm not listening to people on the sidelines because that's where the devil lives. He lives in the sit still zone of spectators. Amen. Does this make sense to you today? So let me just clarify that all in is a lifestyle of willingness. Amen. Father, we pray. Protection right now, all the Gold coast homes, that there'll be no flash flood right now in the name of Jesus that affects any of us. And by the time we get ready to leave this place, the waters will still and we'll have safe travel. Amen. Amen. Well, I wasn't thinking about it until you brought attention to it, Pastor. Well, we pray when the Lord says, not when it feels good. All in is a willingness. All in doesn't mean we have to enjoy every answer. All in doesn't mean we have to enjoy and have our hearts open to everything. All in means Psalms 37, 23. I want to read that and remind you what this song says. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delights in his ways. Purpose tells you that there is a path. All in is trusting God. That directs it. Your purpose only shows you the path. But when you obey God and go all in, you're saying, Lord, lead me on that path. When God showed me I'd be a pastor one day, my wife's response was, you've married the wrong woman. Amen. When God showed me I'd moved to Australia, we had to leave work that day to go be sure it was the Lord. We were sitting in a New York, New Jersey office in Secaucus, New Jersey, and the Lord said, you're moving to Australia. From a phone call from my pastor that I had to tell him what the Lord was saying to me. It's about willingness. I remember sitting in the boardroom with Creflo Dollar and a few leaders after I'd been leading youth ministry for only one year in his ministry. And we had 90, you know, 296 kid, any given Friday night, 650 in attendance for events. And I didn't think nothing of it because numbers don't mean nothing to me. And he walked in after a year and he goes, kyle, I want you to be executive senior youth pastor over all my locations. I'm just following the Lord. Sure, I'll do that. How many locations? 23 right now. And I want to grow to 100. When somebody says something to you like that, if your palms don't sweat, you ain't human. I looked at him and said, why are you picking me? Literally in that room, looking at all the board members and him, why are you picking me? Because you follow the Holy Spirit. He said, you're not qualified for the position. You don't have the experience for the position. But God showed me one thing. The reason you're the man is because you follow the Holy Spirit. When people see the evidence of the Holy Spirit working in you, God will make a way where man doesn't select you. Well, where's that at in Scripture? Well, you remember Daniel with 120 noblesmen, and he didn't have to say a thing to be selected. It was the excellent Spirit in him. He was surrounded by people more qualified and in better position, but the excellent spirit shined out of him. Can I tell you something that changes in me when the Spirit is active? This face, this face goes from bulldog to teddy bear. Amen. And when I'm walking around thinking about what I do gotta do, it turns into bulldog. And then God sent me a beautiful lady into my life. Young lady, as I just heard it in my mind, a beautiful young lady in my life that looks at me and goes, now remember, you need to smile. That's the Holy Spirit working through her on the things that are important. The Lord, when He leads you, he also doesn't concentrate on the big things. He concentrates on the little things in your life. Amen. Don't you want life to be simpler? Don't you want life to be joy filled? Don't you want life to be happier? Don't you want life to feel good in the middle of the storm? Don't you want to sleep like Jesus and your kids come and wake you up? My wife kept talking to me last night. What's that bump? I said, it's just a storm. I slept right through it. Amen. Because I'm good, God is with me, something happens, a tree falls on me while I'm sleeping. I'm not worried. Guess who I'm going to wake up to? Jesus. Amen. All in, confidently tells you that God is with me. Amen. But the best thing about purpose for your life and being all in, like we're realizing this morning, is vision protects purpose. Guys, I meet a lot of Christians that are like leaves. Wherever the wind blows, they go. I'm sorry. As much as I believe in following the Holy Spirit, I also know he leads me with ordered steps. I know that he doesn't lead me off a feeling. I don't chase revival. I don't chase a big name. I don't chase a book, I don't chase a building. I don't chase status. And I don't chase status quo. I follow Jesus. Amen. If God tells you to lay hands on me and pray, guess what? I'm gonna welcome the Holy Spirit in you laying hands on me and pray. You don't have to write a book. You don't have to have a leadership qualification. And you know you don't have. You just come pray if the Lord leads you. Amen. Pray. Vision protects purpose and it follows order. Purpose gives meaning, vision gives direction. Proverbs 29:18. Where there is no vision, the people perish. What does perish look like? See, every time we look at the word perish, we look at the calamity. It didn't say, where there is no vision, there is calamity, there is ruin. It said perish. I want to explain something to you about this word perish. And my Greek scholars and Aramaic and all you guys chime in right here, perish means spoil. An apple set on a counter that is not used, not eaten, will do what it will perish, it will spoil. Where there's no Vision. Everything inside that apple will bring nutrients, and there are seeds inside of it to bring life. You hear me? In you is living water. You. You, if you have vision, are like that apple. You have nutrients to sustain you, and the seed that is in you that will spread the gospel and bring new life everywhere. Amen. So where there is no vision doesn't mean we're inviting the devil. There's going to be calamity. There's going to be no. Where there is no vision, good fruit will spoil. Amen. I have a church and a church leadership that says, if you have a gift, use it. We may not provide a space for it in this building, but we will equip you to provide it in your home, on the street, in the community, in anywhere. We may not have the availability in here, but we do more in life than we do in here. Amen. So we want to use the fruit in you. Amen. Is that good? So quit waiting on me. Listen, one of the things I've learned about Australian leadership is we're waiting on the pastor to ask us. Your leader is the Holy Spirit. We submit one to another. Amen. I'm responsible for what happens in here. But you let your mouth speak when God speaks to you, and we will pray and we will come together to equip and empower you in the areas that God has called you to. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. So quit letting your fruit spoil on the shelf. Speak so that the fruit of God in you can be used in this community. And this community goes past world changers, folks. Ah. The body of Christ that we're connected to, the limb that we're a part of, it goes all the way to Sydney. It's the Sunshine coast in the churches, and, man, there's so much we can be a part of if we just knew what your fruit is, what your gift is. Quit letting man dictate how you're used. Become a partner of the ministry of Jesus, and let's see great things happen. Go all in. Amen. Well, they didn't use me last time, and I just don't fit in most places. Well, listen, honey, we might have a special unique corner or top of the shelf or middle of the wall for you that we just. We just needed something unique to fit into you. You are. You are already dismissing yourself without even knowing. We might even have a place in the body of Christ for your uniqueness, your rainbow, your glitter, your sparkle. Amen. Amen. Well, anyway, y' all can take that so many different ways. Vision isn't about fixing problems, it's about releasing potential. Amen. All in bridges between knowing and doing. Peter's purpose was discovered. He lived his purpose. Peter discovered his purpose in a moment. He lived it out over a lifetime in Matthew 16:18. See, there's so many scripture changes in what God said to me this morning when I gave him the scriptures. I think I've changed about five of them. Do we have that one? No. Okay. You are Peter and on this rock I will build my church. But Peter still had to work it out step by step. Failure and restoration, growth and maturity. If Jesus had to go through the wilderness to get on the cross, we got to learn how to be a living sacrifice to be used for ministry. He did not call us to sacrifice. He called us to surrender to him and his Holy Spirit. We don't have to get into self effort. We don't have to try hard. We need to surrender to he who has already completed the work and then walk with the Holy Spirit with what needs to be done next. Amen. So just cause it doesn't look like it's working out right now may mean that God's just preparing you for the next step. Amen. Paul writes in First Corinthians 12 and 4, there's diversities of gifts, but the same spirit, different roles, different seasons, same purpose. You can't all get up here and preach. There's too many voices. I'm just going to say a truth, but there is not enough voices to preach out there. Sundays are easy. This pulpit is stationary out there. It takes real obedience to listen to God out there. It takes real strength to pay for somebody's groceries, to help somebody in a parking lot. To smile when you don't feel like smiling. To talk when you don't feel like talking. My pulpit is out there. This is just my stationary moment to celebrate, encourage and uplift the body of Christ with the people that God has blessed me with to be around and be a part of. All in allows everyone to participate without comparison. Man, there are some better preachers in here. There's better teachers, there's better people than me. But God assigned me this role. So you shouldn't be comparing yourself to if I was the pastor. Well, if I was over member care. Well, if I was on worship, well, if I was in children's church, well, if I was in the cafe. Well, if I. Well, if I. Well, if I. There's one problem with all those statements. I. I focused brings you results. I'm going to say that again. I focused brings you results, focus on him and what he's called you to do, and you'll get God results in your life. Amen. Is this hitting home today? Yeah. Okay, walk all in the series that we're on and where we're starting from purpose to living on purpose, it's practical. You know, I hear prophets all the time, guys, and I love some of our prophets. I love their energy, I really do. And I got a lot of prophets in my life. I got well known ones and unknown ones, parking lot prophets and sidewalk prophets. I got them all. I got social media prophets. I mean, I tell you what, we got them all. And I hear so many different things. You know, the ones that I don't like are the ones that talk encrypted. You know what? This year in 2026, I believe that God's going to move in a mighty way. Just look and see. Just watch. Look to the east, northwest and south and northeast and sideways and upside down. God will be there. Well, where am I supposed to look, buddy? And if you just feel his presence, that's where you should be. Well, when I was in paintball the other day shooting this guy, it felt really good. Was the Holy Spirit a part of that? When I was road raging on the M1, it felt really good to get that out. It was the Holy Spirit there. The Holy Spirit will speak with such clarity and direction that you know your next step. Because he says, I order the steps of the righteous. I am a lamp unto your feet. The Holy Spirit doesn't speak vaguely. If there's a dream, he gives interpretation. If there's tongues, he gives interpretations. If there's a word of knowledge, he gives a reason. Don't let people and their need to feel important. Minister direction in your life. Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Amen. And I'll say this to many, to those listening on podcasts mainly, you might be one of those people that you're listening to so many podcasts that you don't know the direction you should take because there's so many voices in your life. Be still and know that he is God and let those other voices confirm what God has said instead of letting many voices tell you what God is saying. Last, and I'll bring up my wife in just a moment. Jesus reassures us of one thing, Lord. I've done church. I've done it. Been there. I've been hurt, been tossed aside. I just don't trust people. I volunteered and they've abused me, they've used me. They called me up every time the doors are open. I hate being the most available one. Lord, they said they were my friend and they stabbed me in the back. They said they loved me and they didn't act like it. You got to remember one thing. In all those scenarios, people are still people. That means they're still capable of doing things in the flesh. We gotta learn how to forgive. As our response, we gotta remember if God's asking us to do it. Matthew 11:30, it simply says, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Everything I've stepped into recently, God's been saying, hey, remember, this isn't your problem. I will do this. Everything that's too big for Kyle, God has been saying, remember, I'll do this. I'll lead you, I'll teach you. I'll give the wisdom. Just listen to me. Every time I go, oh God, we need to do this. We need to do. We need to pray for this and we need to do that. He goes, ho, ho, ho, slow down, slow down, slow down. That's not your problem, that's mine. Give that back to me. Give that back to me, Kyle. You give that back to me. I'm like, yes, dad. Sometimes it feels heavy. It just means we need to slow down and realize what we've grabbed ahold of and whether it's ours to carry or not. And those things that are not ours, we give to God. And we gotta remember that will mean 100% of everything will be handed back to him, while 100% of his strength will be given to us to do what's next. Slow down. Grace is meant to carry this. Jesus died for sins. Quit making yourself believe that your one little mistake is going to delete you from being able to fulfill God's purpose. Because if you could live perfectly, Jesus wouldn't have had to die. But you still need to live a life of repentance. Even though all sins are forgiven, even though you know Jesus, you still need to daily check yourself and say, Lord, change my heart in this area, change my mind in this area. Because I want to follow you. Because any fruit of you will not produce. I want to produce the fruit of the Lord. Is this hitting home today? Is this hitting home today? And you know what God's made me do, Lauren? I become loving. I like Christmas lights now, isn't that strange? I even like company. I like having people over at my house. My wife bought a 12 seater table. And I thought, at first I thought my reaction was going to be, oh, Lord, she's going to feel it when she got that 12 seater table. I thought, well, who are we going to invite for dinner first? That's what God will do to you when he changes your heart, when you follow in the spirit. Amen. It looks strange to others, but it feels good. Church, we may have discovered purpose last week, but we need to know about your participation. Claire and Paddy, Jeremy, every volunteer you see working here would love some help. If you want to help here. Help, yes, that is this part where I ask for more volunteers. But if you're not going to serve here, can you do one thing for me? Can you pray about what you're going to do for the kingdom of God this week and do it. If it's going out in prayer for people, do it. Ephesians 3 and 20 says now to him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all things that we ask or think according to the power that works in him. I know you might be asking, can I do it or am I doing enough? But change that to I'm willing to follow you, God, to what's next. Change that. Because purpose found is powerful and purpose lived is transformational. The lives you will impact will be greater than you could think. And so my wife, as we wrap up the close of the service, I don't know, we didn't do offering today. I don't know if we'll do it. I think you know how to give at pos machine online. Buckets. There'll be a bucket somewhere. But guys, God meets our need. We just give you the opportunity to be a part of it. So however you want to bless what God's doing, you do that. Amen. But as my wife, she has a word of knowledge and a scripture this morning. I want to invite her up to do the altar call if somebody will get her a mic or something. Amen. She's got it. And you know, I whispered in my wife's ear this morning while we were praising in worship, I said thank you for being you even when I don't acknowledge it. So amen. We're blessed. Hallelujah. [00:42:16] Amen. Amen. Let's give God just a hand clap of praise. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. It is wonderful to see you all, but I just want, you know, Pastor Kyle was ministering on all in and this morning I said, honey, I really believe of God, a word of knowledge to share. And you know, sometimes before we kind of cross over, so to speak into that, yes, Lord, here I am. Send me, I'll go or yes, Lord, I'M willing. Sometimes there's things that God needs to deal with on the inside of us. And he gave me the word shortchange this morning. And you know, some of us may be feeling shortchanged. Maybe last year something happened to you, or years before that, a situation or circumstance or something may have happened that left you feeling shortchanged. It could be that you were treated unfairly, unjustly, maybe given less than what you deserved, or given nothing than what you were deserved. Maybe you were cheated out of something, maybe you were promised something and it never manifested. But God wants that to be released. God wants every burden to be released. We are in a new year. We are in 2026. There is so much going on in this world that we need to be the light. We need to be salt of the earth and light. We need to be the cities on a hill for the people that we encounter. And sometimes we need to have a transaction with the spirit of God. Sometimes we need to exchange this feeling of shortchanged or injustice, whatever it is, so that he can make that new, so that he can transform our hearts even more. You know, I was reminded of Moses, Moses in the book of Exodus, when God was telling him to go, go to Pharaoh. You know, I believe in some, some senses. You know, Moses gave five excuses to God. He said, basically, who am I to go feeling unqualified for it, feeling inferior to go to Pharaoh and confront him. But in that excuse, God said, I will be with you. The second one was, who are you? Who are you to tell them? Moses questioned, how do I even describe you, God, to Pharaoh? How do I even even say that you are the great God that you are? I am who I am. That was an excuse. God said, I am who I am. Number three, what if they don't believe me? Unbelief. Fearing rejection, Moses worried that Pharaoh that the people would not listen. So God gave him signs, the staff to the snake to prove his power. Number four, I'm not a good speaker. Moses felt so short changed because he had a speech impediment. He said, I am an inability to speak. Moses claimed that he was slow of speech and tongue, to which God replied by affirming to him that God he has made man's mouth and would provide the words. And number five, Moses even said, police in someone else. God, please send Aaron my brother. And at his breaking point, Moses begged God to choose someone else. And still after those excuses, God was not angry. In fact, God responded back to him and basically said in Exodus 6:1, okay, you have your excuses, basically. Are you done? Now you're at the end of yourself. And now you shall see. The work of my hands is what God told Moses, you know, and I believe that this is that moment in circumstances, in feelings of feeling shortchanged. Or maybe it's you that's given an excuse. Who am I? You know, I would. I said to Pastor Kyle, I don't want to get up in front of people. I don't want to speak. I don't want to. You know, this was years ago. And God, through a vision, showed me the significance and the why that was so beyond me to speak his word. But this morning, I believe, is that moment that God is saying, surrender. Surrender it. Let's exchange it. Release these burdens. Don't carry it in another year. Don't carry it into another year. Don't let it play out in 2026 like it did in 2025. Exchange it. And he says, I promise you now you shall see the work of my hands. So if everyone will stand, I just want the Holy Spirit to minister to you. Now, I'm going to back this up in scripture. There is a scripture that literally says we are never shortchanged. Romans 5, 5. We're going to start in one by entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us. Set us right for with him, make us fit for him. We will have it all together with God because of our Master, Jesus. And that's not all. We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open the doors to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand, out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise. In verse three, it goes on to say, there is more to come. There is more to come. We continue to shout our praise even when we feel hemmed up with troubles. Amen. Because we know that troubles can develop passionate patience in us and how that patience in turn forges a stampered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. And alert expectations. Expectancy such as this are we alert in our expectation. We're never left feeling shortchanged. It's quite the contrary. We cannot round up enough containers to hold everything that God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit Church. The Word says we are never, ever shortchanged. It doesn't matter what it looked like. It doesn't matter the treatment, the unjust, the injustice. Cheated out of, didn't get it, promised it never manifested, even in the how God, Where God? When God? We are never, ever shortchanged in Him. He says there's more to come. He says, now you shall see the work of my hands. You've given every excuse. I don't know who this is for. I don't know who this is to. But God is saying, you are never shortchanged. He loves you. Just as Pastor Kyle said, He's with you. It's in him, with him and through him that we can do all things. Amen. Amen. [00:51:59] Thank you for tuning in to today's message. To connect or find out more, you can reach us online at worldchangers.life.
