[00:00:00] Welcome to the World Changers Church Gold Coast Podcast. Join us as we listen to today's message. [00:00:06] Well, World worship team, you did a great job. You did so good. We gave away your seats, so I do apologize. We did put some more seats in the back for you guys. You know, it's a good problem to have. [00:00:19] We're outgrowing in this location and it's been a long journey to get here, you know? Amen. [00:00:29] So I'm going to take off my ring so I stop playing with it. You ever have like those little fidget spinners, you know? [00:00:36] Listen, I want to tell you a story real quick. Real quick. [00:00:38] So when I first came to church, I came home angry. [00:00:44] How do you go to church and go home angry? I looked at my wife and I said, what did you tell that pastor about me? [00:00:51] And he was only preaching the message about the son that came home, that had left and spent all of his inheritance and then ran out and didn't think his dad would receive him and had made a mess of his life. [00:01:00] And I thought that was my story. I was like, how does he know me? I ain't told this man nothing about me. He barely knows my name. [00:01:08] But somehow that's how church works. You come together in a community and you can't hide. And that's the beauty about community, is that we really come together inside a community. I don't know about you, but I come together inside a community because I want to feel the strength of the partnership we have with Jesus and I want to do it together with you. Amen. [00:01:28] So some of you have traveled from the Philippines to be here this morning. Praise the Lord. [00:01:34] Amen. [00:01:35] And you're back with us. [00:01:38] Some of you have come back after four years and long time friendships. And some of you are here for the first time and I want to say a big welcome to each and everybody. Could you turn to two or three people and make them welcome here this morning? [00:01:59] Why not? [00:02:03] Okay. [00:02:06] Welcome everybody. Welcome. Front row. Good to see you all. [00:02:11] Welcome. [00:02:17] All right, so listen, I know y' all love to talk, but come back, y' all love each other so much, we could just end the service right there and y' all be all right. [00:02:28] But I do have to share something with you as this is the last message for this series. And my wife will be ministering next week and I'm looking forward to that. How many are looking forward to that? [00:02:42] Each year we kind of try and talk about certain topics. They range around identity and how to start the year. But we just felt like this year we wanted to go with whatever God was saying. And this year we really felt like all in was what God was talking about. Because in a world that is uncomfortable based on your decisions, in a world where, I mean, if I put the wrong thing on Facebook, I'm just canceled and I'm okay with that because I don't get on Facebook anymore anyway. [00:03:09] But in a world where anything you say or do is everybody's problem, we gotta be living for God. [00:03:18] Because at any given moment, your best friend can become your enemy. At any given moment, your business can be on top. And how many know business, it can be on the bottom. How many are in business right now? [00:03:30] We speak to that profit margin right now in Jesus name, we speak to your contracts to be signed, your deliverables to be delivered, and your KPIs. Did I say that Right to be met. [00:03:43] Church Last week we talked about purpose. And purpose is a big thing. A life without purpose is like a gun without bullets. [00:03:49] A life without purpose is like a balloon without helium, a car without gas or keys. A life without purpose is something that's just existing. [00:03:57] But when we find our purpose, we realize that it's not accidental, it's not random, and it's not incidental either. It's not just because we walked into something. When we're living for God, we realize that our steps are ordained because the Bible says in Ephesians 2:10, if we can pull up that scripture, it says this, for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus. [00:04:22] Amen. [00:04:23] For good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. [00:04:28] It's like being a father, right? You're going to prepare a way for your children to be successful. You're gonna lay everything out before them and it's really on them to choose that path. Even though you've prepared everything, I want you to think of God, that He has prepared a table before your enemies. He's prepared a table that says you're gonna get there and all you gotta do is choose and follow him. [00:04:51] Just like a father would for a daughter or a son. God has prepared the way for you to be successful in everything you do. [00:04:59] Amen. [00:05:00] Now, amen means so be it. [00:05:03] But it's more about than our prosperity. It's about our spirit, soul, body. [00:05:07] God wishes you to prosper in your mind just as much as he does in your pocket. He wishes you to prosper in your mind and your body just as anything else. He wants you to be healthy. He wants you to live a life and a Life more abundantly. This is not a life of brokenness. [00:05:22] This is not a life of tragedy. We choose tragedy because that's what we focus on. [00:05:27] Anybody know what I'm talking about? [00:05:29] But when we have purpose, we can only see direction. And no matter the pitfalls, no matter the moments, no matter how hard it gets, we can see a way through because we're living on purpose. It's when purpose is distracted, is when we feel down. [00:05:45] Does that make sense? [00:05:46] Come on, somebody. [00:05:48] Purpose answers why we exist. [00:05:53] But today I want to talk to you about how we walk it out. Because purpose is not something we simply discover one day, and then life becomes easy. Purpose is something we live step by step, often in a real, ordinary, and sometimes. Can I get an amen? Uncomfortable situation. [00:06:11] Amen. You married folk can say amen. [00:06:14] I remember when I first got married, I knew nothing about love. [00:06:21] And Tina has been the greatest teacher on love. [00:06:24] She's loved me when I was unlovable. [00:06:27] She's loved me when I was irrational. She's loved me when I forgot anniversaries and birthdays. [00:06:34] God forbid. Don't you ever do that, man. [00:06:36] We're gonna have a men's group just to support you for those that have forgotten those things, because I tell you those things. Even though love does not keep a record of wrong. Stop right there. [00:06:49] Now. My wife is amazing. Amen. [00:06:52] Amen. She puts up with me. Amen. Give an amen right there. [00:07:00] I want to be clear from the beginning. God is not the author of confusion. I hear a lot of people talk today about God calls this. God put this in my life to strengthen me. God did this to test me. No. We invited chaos into our lives. And God gives us the strength to walk it out. [00:07:18] We were asleep and confusion came through the back door. [00:07:24] But God gives us the wisdom to walk it out. [00:07:27] God is not causing chaos in your life. If that is true, then he's not a good God. But what he is is he is a supplier of strength, support, love and wisdom when chaos is knocking at your door. [00:07:40] Amen. [00:07:42] Now. But the other thing is your life doesn't have to be chaotic to feel like it's not fulfilled. [00:07:48] We talk a lot about brokenness, but what about. I've got a friend in the US who was over all the sprinkler systems, big company that he sold recently. [00:07:58] And when he came to me one day and we were talking, he said, I can buy anything, I can do anything. I. I can go anywhere and anybody will give me anything I want. But I'm still empty on the inside. [00:08:13] The purpose that God gives you fills that void. [00:08:17] So whether you're a billionaire or you're mopping with buckets as a janitor, you can feel whole and not a prisoner of your pain, your past, or your current problem. [00:08:32] Yeah. Come on. [00:08:34] So in First Corinthians, I want to sure that up. It's a scripture. [00:08:37] And scripture gives us instruction that gives us insight to God. It tells us this. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. [00:08:48] Listen, when you're feeling that bubbling of anger and frustration, that's you. [00:08:55] But God is trying to give you peace. That passes your understanding. [00:08:59] When you're saying, why is this happening to me? Or why didn't it go that way? Man, I can tell you in the past two days, I can verify that things didn't go the way I thought they would turn out in my life for a situation in my family. But you know what? I'm still here. [00:09:14] Because even though I don't understand, I still gotta put one foot in front of the other, and I still gotta trust God that this is gonna work out and this too, shall pass. [00:09:22] Because what I'm going through right now is just a moment. It ain't the end of my life. [00:09:25] You know what I'm talking about? [00:09:27] Amen. I'm getting a lot of head nods today. [00:09:30] You know, y' all giving me that. [00:09:33] Yeah, that's good. I'll go with that. [00:09:38] So God does not create chaos in our lives. Come on. You know. But he does give us strength in trouble, wisdom and uncertainty and peace in the middle of the storm. Listen, it's like this. Anybody ever had a good business idea? A good idea, and you start. And you start planning. Especially you entrepreneurs, you. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? [00:09:57] You get these ideas, and it's like, man, it's gonna be great. You're selling it to everybody around you. Right? I know this guy, but he can really hurt me, so I'm gonna be nice to him. [00:10:07] But somewhere along the way, you're journeying in that idea. And about the middle, it doesn't seem as clear. [00:10:16] Things aren't happening the way you were thinking about it back here. They were road blocks, they were delays, letters didn't get sent. People didn't sign on board like they were supposed to. And all of a sudden, you were in the middle of everybody an idea. And everybo. [00:10:28] What's going on. [00:10:30] The faith you had in the beginning of that idea, if you want to be successful, is the same faith you got to have when it doesn't look like it's going right. [00:10:39] And that when you believed in it there, you got to believe in it here. To get all the way across the bridge to the other side, you stop in the middle and turn around. You can't blame God, and you can't blame the idea. You quit. [00:10:52] You got to keep going. [00:10:55] Everybody expects you to quit. [00:10:58] Anybody? Am I talking to anybody? [00:11:00] Am I talking to anybody? Can I get a hallelujah? [00:11:05] You know what I'm saying? [00:11:08] I'm extra comedic today. [00:11:10] It's okay. God is good. [00:11:12] And if you don't like it, God still loves you, too. [00:11:16] And I do, too. [00:11:18] Being all in means trusting God when it's not just, when everything's not making sense, when clarity is still forming, when you want to go all in with God. It's not a poker game. [00:11:34] It's not a bluff with a bad set of hands, hoping a bad set of cards, hoping that no one else around the table finds out that you can't win. [00:11:42] That's not all in. That's not pushing the chips. This ain't pushing the chips across the table and bluffing. [00:11:48] That's just gambling. [00:11:50] Going all in is saying, you know what? I've got a bad hand. [00:11:56] I got everything to lose. Might as well keep going. God, but you've given me everything. [00:12:02] The exchange we have with God is not a gamble. It's not a risk analysis. It's not a SWOT analysis. It's not based off of a KPI. It's based off that there is a living God that is able to do above more than we can ask or think. And we don't understand, and we ain't got it figured out. We gotta find some strength inside of our spirituality to move forward. [00:12:23] Anybody know what I'm talking about? If you've been a dad, you know what I'm talking about. When you don't know how to pay the next bill and baby needs a new pair of shoes, somebody better say Amen. [00:12:31] When your best friends have left you, when people talking bad about you and you feel all alone in the world, you better know God. [00:12:40] I've lived that. [00:12:42] But purpose is not just lived out in cliches and bumper stickers and coming to church and shouting because it feels good right now, right? [00:12:50] But trusting Jesus is knowing that he's the champion of your life. No matter what. [00:12:56] No matter if the game is 14 nil, we're still gonna win. [00:13:02] It's not about the scoreboard. It's not about the statistics. [00:13:06] It's about faithfulness. It's not about cliches, man. I can't. [00:13:14] Okay? I can't stand people to give me cliches. How you doing? I'm good. Kicking like a chicken, Fine like a frog, you know, flavored in Jesus. [00:13:23] I'm like, can you speak English to start off? [00:13:26] How are you doing? Cause your face ain't matching up with your words. [00:13:30] And then once they're honest, they cry, we pray, and then there's some real strength that comes up. [00:13:35] This ain't about the mask you put on. That's your strength. This is about that inner strength that comes from God that makes you able to do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens you. You know what I'm saying? [00:13:48] This ain't about a mask. This ain't about hiding information. This ain't about, I'm good. No, this is about, you know what? Life sucks right now, but I know I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. He will supply all my needs according to his riches and glory. [00:14:03] And when you say it from a real place, watch what God can do with your life. [00:14:08] Watch what God can do with your life. [00:14:12] Purpose cannot be escaped when it's lived in faithfulness. [00:14:15] One of the biggest misunderstandings about purpose is thinking it only becomes once everything is settled. [00:14:23] Man, I've had a multimillion dollar business or $500 business, whichever one. [00:14:33] $500 business. [00:14:35] I've been a developer, I've been an investor, and now I'm a pastor. [00:14:41] What you doing? [00:14:43] What you doing, God? [00:14:45] So I understand what it means to lose it all, to be homeless because of a business decision. [00:14:53] But God has rebuilt my life every time. [00:14:59] Every time. [00:15:02] And now I've just gotten wiser with the decisions I make and the decisions and the people I make them with. [00:15:09] I'm not quick to be like, oh, I may miss out on this opportunity. Let me throw a lot of money at it. [00:15:15] No, I want to do my due diligence. [00:15:18] God doesn't ask for blind faith. He asks for faith that trust in him, and he will lead you with wisdom through the process. [00:15:27] Blind faith is not purpose. It's just saying it'll all be okay and sticking your head in the sand. [00:15:33] No, that's not faith. [00:15:35] That's fear hiding under the mask of faith. [00:15:39] Purpose is a strong lion that doesn't have to roar. It knows exactly who it is. It knows exactly what it's doing. And it doesn't have to be puffed up and proud to show it. When I walk in A room. People know who I am. [00:15:52] I stand out just because I ain't got to say a word. And they're like, who is that dude? [00:15:58] I start talking, who is that American? [00:16:03] Your purpose will lead you in places that only God can take you. [00:16:10] Amen. Let's look at this. Proverbs 3, 5, 6, very common scripture. The scripture shows us that trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. [00:16:20] In all your ways, acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths. What does that mean? [00:16:24] Am I supposed to abandon what I know? Am I supposed to abandon what I've learned? No, it's first acknowledging God. God, what are you doing? God, what are you saying? Which way should I go? And then applying earthly wisdom with heavenly wisdom. And you go from natural to supernatural. [00:16:42] That's how we work. [00:16:46] Amen. I love hearing babies. I don't love hearing babies cry. I don't want to change that real quick. I love hearing life in the church. Amen. [00:16:52] Amen. [00:16:54] Notice direction follows trust. [00:16:58] When you were a businessman and you had an entrepreneurial idea, there was some trust. [00:17:04] Trust is belief. [00:17:06] You believed and trusted that this would work out. Why does it change? [00:17:10] When things aren't going your way? Do you still not have the same capability, the same direction? Do you still not have the same. [00:17:18] And if all those things have faded, it doesn't mean that you still stop. You just find new people to be around you and keep going with what God said. Keep going in the direction you're supposed to go. Does that make sense? Come on. [00:17:32] Is this good? Are y' all thinking? I'm thinking. Y' all thinking? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank y' all for that. [00:17:37] God often gives guidance step by step, not all at once. [00:17:43] Psalms 119 and 105. If God would have told me I was gonna be a pastor in Australia, I'd have ran a long time ago. [00:17:50] Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. A lamp doesn't shine light on the whole direction. It shines just enough to keep moving. God is not gonna give you so much information that you can't see what you need to do next. Because you're thinking 10 years ahead. God is gonna give you exactly what you need, the plan you need and the purpose you need, and the people you need right around you. [00:18:14] Because if he showed you everything, you would overthink it and mess it up. [00:18:19] Somebody better say hallelujah. You know you would. [00:18:24] Well, Lord, you know, you told me I was gonna get, like, $1 billion. [00:18:29] I think we can get there faster? [00:18:32] Don't overthink it. [00:18:34] Take one step at a time. [00:18:36] God often gives us guidance. [00:18:39] Psalms 119, 105. Your word is a lamp to my feet. Proverbs 3, 5, 6. Lean not to your own understanding. [00:18:46] Abraham's life. If you know Abraham in the Bible, whether you're Muslim or no matter what, you're Christian, everybody knows Abraham. [00:18:53] Yeah. Abraham's life reflects this. God did not overwhelm him with explanations. [00:18:58] He gave him just enough direction to go forward and move in faith. Hebrews 11, 8. If you've never read Hebrews, it is the book of faith by faith. Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place which he would receive as an inheritance, and went out not knowing where he was going. [00:19:16] Now, in hillbilly, when someone goes out without not knowing where they're going, like I'm hillbilly, right? And we call that bogan here in Australia. When someone goes out not knowing where we're going, we just call that stupid. [00:19:31] God calls it faith because he had money. [00:19:36] Abraham wasn't just some, you know, little cashier. [00:19:42] He had wealth. [00:19:44] He had to get Sarah, all his kids, all his goats, all his camels, all. He had to organize a lot to say, hey, guys, God has spoken. We're going to start going that way. Well, where are we going? Abraham have no clue. But God said, we're going that way. [00:20:00] You gotta believe. [00:20:02] Along the way, he had to offer up his son as a sacrifice and got right to the moment where God said, no, I'll provide. I just need to see if you trust me. [00:20:12] Listen, the journey and the process will solidify your purpose. [00:20:19] You're looking at what didn't happen and how it didn't work out. But God is preparing you for what's just around the corner. [00:20:27] He's putting warriors around you to fight the next fight. [00:20:32] He's putting finances behind you to be able to pay for what you thought you missed. But there's something bigger around the corner. [00:20:39] Don't think you know better than God. Trust the plan, trust the process, trust Jesus and let him lead you. [00:20:48] What you missed is not a missed opportunity. There's just something better out there. [00:20:53] I don't stop at my first no. You say no. I know you just missed out on what God said in me, so I'm gonna go to the next person. [00:21:00] Does that make sense? [00:21:04] I feel like that hit a little home for some of y'. All. [00:21:07] Yeah. [00:21:08] Purpose does not require full clarity. It requires faithful obedience. [00:21:14] Purpose is not delayed uncertainty. It's a realized trust. [00:21:25] So I'll tell you a story. [00:21:28] Yesterday we're here for this great circuit breakers thing. It's talking about managing your anger and stuff. And it's really good tool for the church. [00:21:36] And you know, I got this text, it says, you know, I got an email the other day. [00:21:45] I planned this to be a part of the message. I didn't plan yesterday be a part of the message. [00:21:49] It just developed. [00:21:51] And I got an email that said, hey, we got some things. We're able to get some labor agreement. We're able to hire some people and apply some visas for some people. And that's awesome. And you're gonna be able to apply for permanent residency, praise God. [00:22:07] But your son Eli is gonna turn 23 before that happens. And we gotta figure out how we're gonna keep him in the country. [00:22:13] The guy playing guitar up here this morning that was worshiping God, now he hates when I expose his life. So I'm gonna ask for forgiveness. [00:22:23] And then yesterday I get a text. We're having this great circuit breakers. There's 20 people being impacted. [00:22:27] We're setting up good things. I get this text to say, yep, not only can we not apply and you have three months to maybe see a miracle, but can't even apply till April 18. And his birthday is April 31. It usually takes 6 to 18 months. Months. [00:22:43] And I said, you know what I did? [00:22:46] I talked to Paddy and I was like, I don't think I'm going to preach tomorrow. [00:22:51] How can I? But you know what God said to me last night? I'm not asking for your sacrifice. [00:22:57] There is a way. And then God showed me a way that will set up my son. So amazing, more greater than waiting on me in my process that he's gonna have a career. [00:23:08] He's gonna have so many good things in his life and what looks like a current struggle is actually a setup for success. [00:23:19] But what if I'd have stopped and I did cry? [00:23:23] I cry, people. I just want y' all to know. What if I just stopped? Oh, God, you're so unfair. Why are you doing this to me? What if I'd have stopped right there and I did that? [00:23:36] Eli is okay, by the way. He's cool as a cucumber. He's like, I'm good, dad. What you cryin for, jerk? [00:23:46] But God promised where there is no way he will make way. [00:23:55] You just gotta keep looking. [00:23:57] Don't turn your eyes away from the trouble. Stare it in the face and say my God is with me. And I can do all things through Christ, his strength. [00:24:05] Don't you listen, listen, listen, listen. [00:24:12] Kings are kings and queens are shaped because they're able to stare into the things normal people can't. [00:24:19] You are kings and priests and high priests. You don't look away from trouble. [00:24:24] You look at dead and I and say, my God is with me. [00:24:28] My God is for me and he will show me a way where there is no way. [00:24:39] I see future millionaires, house owners, business owners. [00:24:44] I see successful people. Not because you're chasing something for you, but you see a need in the community and you say, God, I want to have more so I can give more. [00:24:52] I see people following God here this morning. [00:24:55] And I'm going to tell you right now, your life does not have to stay broken. If you choose Jesus, he will do things in your life that will radically shape what you can do for him and through him. Better way of putting that. Amen. If you agree with that, give the Lord a hand clap of praise. [00:25:14] I'm almost done and I got like 10 more minutes. Praise God. This is a miracle. [00:25:21] Faithfulness is waiting and letting purpose shape you. [00:25:28] Waiting is one of the most challenging parts of faith. [00:25:32] Not because God is absent, but because we want certainty. Before movement, Abraham waited years between promise and fulfillment in the scripture. In Genesis 15:6, Father Abraham and he believed in the Lord and he accounted to him for righteousness. [00:25:55] Guys, it's not about how long you pray. [00:25:59] Your God is so good. [00:26:01] Why are you getting up so early anyway? [00:26:04] Your God is so. I'm confessing. Your God is so good that it will be his goodness that turns you to being good. [00:26:11] It won't be because you chose to be good. It won't be because you chose to do right. It won't be because of all this stuff God asks for. Two words from you only believe. [00:26:27] The greatest thing you can do in your spirituality is believe that God is for you and not against you. [00:26:32] Habakkuk 2 and 3 says, did we get that one to you guys? Yeah. For the vision is not yet appointed time, but at the end it will speak and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it, because it is surely come, it will not tarry. Life without purpose is life without vision. [00:26:52] It's like living life without glasses. Everything's just blurry. You know, you can see some things moving, but you don't actually know what's next. Following God gives clarity to the next steps. [00:27:04] Being around good people that believe in what Jesus can do. [00:27:09] You know, when I look at Ian and Judy, I Don't know if they like it when I highlight them, but I love them. [00:27:14] They've done so much on their journey and they landed in this church. And I can't wait to see what God does next. [00:27:22] Amen. [00:27:24] But God is so good. He's sending people here that are good quality people. If you just look around the room and say, I need to talk to somebody. I need to find out what God has inside of them because I may need that portion in my life. [00:27:39] You have a wellspring of people that God has surrounded you with, that God has supplied you with, that can provide positivity in your life, that can provide direction. [00:27:50] James 1, 2 and 4. Landing this plane here. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall in various trials. How in the world you know I broke my toe the other night walking through the dark. Anybody ever done that? [00:28:05] You know you have. [00:28:07] I want to ask you a question. Did you remain righteous in that moment? [00:28:11] I'm going to ask you a question again. Did you shout Jesus in that moment? [00:28:16] No. You probably said, just like I did. Who put that there? [00:28:21] Oh, that hurts so bad. [00:28:24] It's hard to have joy when you have trouble. But joy is your greatest strength, man. People look at me when I've been through things in the past and they said, how you smiling? The joy of the Lord gives me strength. [00:28:42] You can't take away my joy. You can put me in prison, you can put me in the ground, you can do all you want to to me, but you can't take away my joy. [00:28:52] Because knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. [00:28:56] But let patience have perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. [00:29:01] What you're going through right now, maybe it's not caused by God, but God can use it to mature you and for you to become that person you've always wanted to be. If you just surrender to him. [00:29:15] Does that make sense? [00:29:18] So trust God when the seasons are uncomfortable. [00:29:22] Trust God when the seasons are perfect. [00:29:25] Trust God in the valley. [00:29:27] Trust God at the top. Trust God in all seasons. [00:29:35] Church if you're in a season of uncertainty, hear this. [00:29:38] God is with you. [00:29:40] He is strengthening you and he is guiding you. Proverbs 16:9. Skipping a lot of scriptures because I need to land this plane. A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. [00:29:54] Being all in isn't about being in control. It's being confident in God's goodness. [00:30:00] And as you trust him, as you walk faithfully, you are living your life in purpose. [00:30:09] The greatest representation of God is God, let me explain that. [00:30:16] I've had plenty of people show me religion, and they walked away. [00:30:23] Just three, four years ago, I had things happen in my life, and I thought I was surrounded. And this was in America. There were some things happening back in America, and people just walked. They just walked. That's too much for me. [00:30:38] People are not your strength. [00:30:40] Your finances are not your strength. [00:30:44] What's in here is your strength. [00:30:48] And when that is before God, righteous with him. When that is before God, empty of everything that is leaning on the world, you can do anything. [00:31:02] God will represent himself. Even when people walk away. [00:31:07] Y' all know what I'm talking about, right? I'm talking to some of y' all over here, right? [00:31:11] When people walk away, yeah, I know it's uncomfortable, but even when they walk away, God's still there. [00:31:20] Best friends walk away. He's still there. [00:31:24] Trouble in your marriage? He's still there. [00:31:27] Business deal didn't go through. He's still there. [00:31:31] One failure brings an opportunity for the next success God has for you. [00:31:38] Keep praying, keep believing, keep trusting. You showed up here today and you took all the seats. [00:31:46] You know what I got to do. I got to believe for a new building. [00:31:51] I got to believe for possibly two services. We ain't there yet. You know, we're going to talk to y' all first. We're going to talk to y' all first, but y' all keep coming. [00:32:00] Don't, don't. Hey, we can't invite you to church because there's not enough room. Listen, I will find a way to get people in there. Even we got to open that door and put some tents outside and have air conditioning out of there for it. Listen, we'll figure it out, because God's moving. [00:32:16] Like Paddy said, we didn't do this. We obeyed God and stepped into things that he said step into. [00:32:22] And the fruit of that is right here this morning. [00:32:26] Amen. [00:32:31] My wife looked at me the other day, and I land here. She said, we got. I want you to take this money. And for the first time, I used to, like, do, like, you know, day trading and cryptocurrency, and I'd do it on my own, on the side, and I'd make some money. I never told her about how much I lost, just what I gained, right? [00:32:51] And she goes, I want you to take this money and turn it into this. And I'm like. And the moment she said that, when it was me, on my own, when it was me. [00:32:59] I'm gonna do what I can and bless my family with It. It was okay, but now it's her money. [00:33:06] Nowadays, a little bit of fear, not because of her. I'm not afraid. [00:33:23] Listen, if y' all know Tina, she's the sweetest thing in the world, y' all know that's not true, right? But make her mad, she'll cut you. Anyway. [00:33:29] Anyway. Anyway, before I get myself in trouble, let me say this. [00:33:36] I'm gonna keep it with Jesus. [00:33:38] I had to make y' all laugh. Y' all were getting too serious. [00:33:42] But when responsibility hits investment, I was afraid. [00:33:48] I can make hundred thousand dollar deals. [00:33:53] I can do things and do radical things when I'm on my own. But now that it was my family attached to it, all of a sudden, I was afraid. And God said one thing to me in this impression and prayer. He said, do you not think I have your family, too? [00:34:07] And that story came back to me last night about my son Eli. Do you not think I have him, too? [00:34:14] You not think I'm strategizing for him, too? [00:34:18] So no matter what you're facing, no matter how it didn't work out, God's got you. Keep your ears open, keep your heart full, don't let your head drop, and keep your love on. Amen. [00:34:30] Father, we thank you as your heads bow. We thank you for this moment. [00:34:36] Now, there is a lot of new faces here, so I'm not talking to just any one person. [00:34:42] If you do not know Jesus Christ and you'd like to receive him as your personal Lord and Savior, just lift your hand up where you are. [00:34:50] Thank you for the hand. [00:34:54] Thank you for the hand. Father, we thank you for this person that's raised their hand and said, I want to know Jesus. [00:35:02] I want to know him personally. I want to know him intensely. I want to receive him as my Lord and Savior, as my guide, my friend. [00:35:09] We thank you for this, Lord. It's in Jesus name we pray, and all of heaven and us rejoice. [00:35:17] Amen. [00:35:21] Now, for the first time in nine years in World Changers history, I'm finishing one minute early. [00:35:39] Somebody said UFC must be on today. [00:35:42] Anyway, that's not it. God has said what he's wanted to say. I hope you're blessed. I'm going to turn it over to the next person and let them tell us what's on at World Changers. [00:35:54] Thank you for tuning in to today's message.
